Founded in 1887 The Royal is a traditional members club situated in the lee of the South Downs. Comprising 27 holes of challenging golf, we cater for all levels of handicap. Both the Devonshire & Hartington Courses are maintained to the very highest of standards. Built on chalk we seldom see the courses closed. In recent years our friendly clubhouse has been substantially modernised.
