One of the most elegant buildings in Glasgow's city centre, Hutchesons' Hall was built in 1802-5 to a design by David Hamilton. A major reconstruction in 1876 by John Baird heightened the Hall and provided an impressive staircase. The interior is hung with portraits of Glasgow worthies. New permanent multi-media exhibition, 'Glasgow Style'. Includes film, audio trail of Merchant City and gallery setting work by young Glasgow designers.
