Without Problems

Very Comfortable And Enjoyable 3 Nights Away.
We have just returned from a short stay in Edinburgh and found the Minto Guest House offered us very acceptable accomodation. Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious with an en suite bathroom. Breakfast was ample with a selection of cereals fruits toast jam tea and coffee.....more than sufficient to start your day. There is a bus stop opposite to take you down to the Royal Mile but we found the walk most enjoyable and did not take that long. Edinburgh is a lovely city and the Minto Guest House did not disappoint. The room rates are very reasonable and the proprietors make everyone feel welcome whilst giving you the freedom to come and go as you please.

One Of The Best B&b I Have Stayed In
Beautiful Victorian house not far from city centre with very clean and quiet bedroom, perfect place to have a good rest. There is nice variety for breakfast in cosy living room. I arrived a bit sick to the hostel and the owners were very kind to me, ensuring I had everything I needed and checking on me. I very much enjoyed staying in and I will come again when visiting Edinburgh.

All the best

Nadia and family.

Kind Minto
A clean, tidy and quiet place. The owner is very kind: without additional fees she assigned me a room at the ground floor bigger than the one I booked, to avoid me two flights of stair with my heavy suitcases, and allowed me to leave them at the house for some hours after my check out. Everything was good.

First Trip To Edinburgh
A pleasurable stay, adequate for two nights. A good choice for breakfast, clean and tidy. If staying in a room at the front, it's a shame about the road noise. A good location with a bus stop outside the front door.

Minto Guest House Stay Feedback
Firstly, Thanks Nadia for your help, city guidance and timely support.

We stayed for 4 nights in Minto Guest house family room(From 3rd April'15 to 6th April'15).

We strongly recommend Minto guest house for stay because of guest house location, transport connectivity, room facilities, family environment & safety.

For all 4 days, guest house provided us healthy & hygienic morning breakfast which was included in room per night charges.

I would like to stay again in your guest house in my next Edinburgh visit.

Thanks again Nadia/Abdul for your help & support.

Bon Bnb, Sympa

Edinburgh Castle , Greyfriars Kirk, the Scott Monument , the spires and pinnacles of the city, the sea, and the hills beyond interact with the new museum, reinforcing its role as a central point in the nation's heritage, a protector of Scotland 's treasures. A majestic landmark which dominates the capital city's skyline just as it has dominated Scotland's long and colourful history. Edinburgh Castle is the best known and most visited of Historic Scotland's buildings. Perched on an extinct volcano and offering stunning views, this instantly recognisable fortress is a powerful national symbol, and part of Edinburgh's World Heritage Site. A rich mix of architectural styles reflects the castle's complex history and role as both stronghold and seat of Kings. The tiny St Margaret's Chapel, Edinburgh's oldest building, dates from the 1100s.

Edinburgh is the breathtakingly beautiful capital of Scotland, an exciting place to visit at any time of year. Edinburgh offers you superb sightseeing, historic buildings to explore, quiet galleries and museums to intrigue you, thrilling new attractions to discover, serious shopping, a vast choice of excellent Restaurants, Bistros, Wine Bars, Pubs and Cafes, and nightlife to suit all tastes. When the Picts built a fort on a volcanic crag in the 5th century, to protect Scotland from the invading Angles of Northumberland, Edinburgh's history began. The present Castle, was built on the site by Michael Canmore (1057-93); his wife St. Margaret, built the chapel which you can still visit today.
