Small But Perfectly Formed!
As the title says, the room was small but well maintained and very clean. It was quite warm but turning down the radiator and opening the window worked. Nice shower. Ideal for the airport and the pub just down the road.

Woodspring Golf and Country Club - Bristol - Golf

Woodspring Golf and Country Club - Bristol - Golf

Distance 1 miles (1.6 km)
The 27 hole golf course designed by Donald Steel, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, provides golfers with challenges that are testing, yet fair and enjoyable. Comprising the Avon, Brunel and Severn, Woodspring Golf and Country Club has been designed as three separate nine hole courses. Each nine has its own set of characteristics; the Avon is the shortest of the three and asks you to hit the ball strategically, making it more important to hit the ball accurately than a long way. The Brunel has some testing water features that come into play. With its small raised green, the iron play has to be impeccable if you are to play under your handicap.

Long Ashton Golf Club - Bristol - Golf

Long Ashton Golf Club - Bristol - Golf

Distance 2.03 miles (3.25 km)
Situated just three miles from the City centre and the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge; Long Ashton is one of the area's premier golf courses. Founded in 1893 the course, which meanders along the back of a limestone ridge offers some of the best views across the city and the Mendip hills. Providing a true test of golf to players of all ability and complemented by a most welcoming clubhouse with one of the best practice facilities around Long Ashton is well worth visiting at any time of the year. Long Ashton enjoys a membership of some 800 members with healthy junior and ladies sections, yet there is always a welcome for visitors and is regarded as a club in which you will always receive a warm welcome.

Bristol City Football Club - Football Club

Distance 2.45 miles (3.92 km)
Bristol City Football Club Formed in 1897. Ashton Gate is located in the south-west of Bristol, just south of the River Avon. It has an all-seated capacity of about 21,500, with an effective capacity (depending on how many away tickets are allocated, and how they are segregated) of around 19,100. It was the home of Bedminster F.C. until the 1900 merger, and the merged team played some games there the following season, but it did not become the permanent home of Bristol City until 1904. Visiting fans are housed in the Wedlock Stand at the south-east end of the ground, which was built as a covered terrace in 1928, converted to seats in the 1990s and was the traditional home fans' end until 1994.

Bristol and Clifton Golf Club - Bristol - Golf

Distance 2.58 miles (4.12 km)
Bristol & Clifton is a beautiful, undulating, country golf course of distinctive character, established in 1891. It is situated just 4 miles from Bristol and only a short drive from Brunels famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. Bristol & Clifton is not a golf club for beginners! We do expect that all your players hold an official handicap, can play to a reasonable standard, and will not hold up any play. We recommend that Stableford Competitions be the format for the day. Each player must have his own set of Clubs, proper golf shoes and is expected to know and carry out the normal etiquette of golf.
