Welcome to Three Rivers Hotel and Spa

Address: Ferryside, Carmarthen, SA17 5TU

Telephone: 01267 267270

Hotel Description

The hotel is situated on the southern boundary of the Carmarthenshire seaside village of Ferryside. The village nestles on the Three Rivers estuary of Carmarthen Bay. The hotel enjoys views of Llanstephan and its ancient castle to the west, and of Carmarthen Bay towards Caldy Island and Tenby to the south west. Ferryside grew from the now non-operational Ferry crossing on the river Tywi, on the ancient pilgrims route to St David's Cathedral. It is uncommercialised, peaceful and quiet; the ideal getaway for a perfect weekend (or longer) break. It is also, due to its' proximity to Carmarthen, Llanelli and other centres, an ideal corporate meeting place.

Birthday Treat
A very warm welcome greeted us and a 4 poster bed that we weren’t expecting. We took the dog who was allowed in most places including the bar and restaurant, although we didn’t take him in the restaurant to have food in peace. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The place has character and great views of the high and low tide if you pick a sea view room, trains pass regularly but this didn’t bother us, in fact it was something else to look at. A wonderful massage by Rachel was just what the wife needed to de-stress. Lovely warm jacuzzi, good size pool, nice sauna. Would love to call in again for food as it was so good. The locker room and steam room could do with a little attention to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Highly recommended for a relaxing spa break.
